So if you like the Shamo-family and you have information or pictures you'd like to be published, send them to me and i'll publish them. I have been receiving alot of mails the last months of you fellows and i felt myself suddenly not that lonesome breeder anymore. It gives me hope for our Shamo's, because i discovered many enthousiast breeders who are willing to help out other enthousiast breeders. Life can be beautiful if you sometimes give a friend a hand. I am thinking about building out my website, so i could use some help with retrieving more information about how your personal experiences are as Shamo-breeder or what you feed them or how you make your selection or ... |

"Shamolady" Julia Keeling has been the primary breeder of Shamo in the British Isles for the past fourteen years. In 1999 she founded the "Asian Hardfeather Club" and has been its dedicated and hard-working secretary ever since. Since the first AHC Club Show at the Millenium National Championship Show, birds bred by her have won the ChampionAsian Hardfeather Award - in 2002 the AHC Champion going on to win the overall title of supreme Champion in show. This much-needed book draws on her study of Japanese Game breeds in Japan and in Europe, and will be invuluable to anyone interested in any of these breeds. She manages to present the confusing names and types in a very accesible way, both in words and in a wealth of photographs.
